OPERATING
Besides RTTY, I will be using telephony and I will try to get a few QSO's in using PSK 31. I am hoping to be set up and on the air by Wednesday, afternoon/early evening of 5 January 2011. Unhappily, operations will cease on the morning of 11 January 2011.
NEWS for 2010 DXpedition
December 7, 2009 (Pearl Harbor Day)
I shipped three boxes and one Storm case iM2720 of antenna parts and other ancillary equipment to Whitehorse. Everything has cleared Canadian customs and now I am waiting for word that everything I has arrived.
I am taking two other Storm cases iM2500 with me on the plane (29 December 2009). These cases contain radios, radial wire, an Astron RS-35A power supply and more.

The baggage handlers managed to kill an Astron RS-35A power supply and I was not aware of the death of my power supply until I was to get on the air 31 December 2009. It was the last item I removed from the Strom case iM2500 and it was very securely packed. It was the least of my worries and very surprised they could kill a power supply. I was extremely fortunate to have a very generous ham from the Yukon Amateur Radio Association loan me an Astron RS-50A for the duration of my stay in Whitehorse.
