OPERATING

I intend to maximize my operating time while in Whitehorse by operating where possible on all HF bands (160 meters is doubtful, however, I will try to see if I can get the antenna to load) as defined by the Canadian Spectrum Management and Telecommunications

Besides RTTY on during the contest, I will be using telephony (SSB) and I will be operating using PSK 31 as much as I can, which I expect if the band conditions are good, will be a lot of time on the air.  Unfortunately, my CW speed is not up to par and I will not do a good job should a pile-up occur.  I am hoping to be set up and on the air by Thursday afternoon/early evening of 9 February 2012.  Unhappily, operations will cease around 17 February 2012 as I prepare to ship everything back to my home QTH.

On Christmas Day, I began gathering everything up that I will be needing for the trip to VY1 from an amateur radio perspective.

Everything is packed and weighed.  I have listed the contents of each Storm case in an Excel spreadsheet.
